This is the building that was purchased to sooner or later become Sasha’s Home.

This is how our reconstruction started…

Even though we called it reconstruction, it was a major construction process for us with heavy machinery and a great number of construction workers involved.

The work goes on in cold and rain or snow.

The fence is almost completed and progress continues on the brickwork to install new windows. The pictures speak for themselves…

The work at Sasha’s Home is moving in the direction of positive construction! All the demolition is complete and we are working hard to complete two second floor apartments. The bedrooms have been created with metal studs and most of the sheet-rock is up.

We are completing the balconies, putting up the stud walls in the final family apartment, and tiling the bathrooms and entryways. The walls in the apartments the Sheetrock is hung are being smoothed and prepared for painting. The interior of the complex no longer looks like an old building, but rather like a nice apartment complex. This is the look we are working towards. Praise the Lord!

the very first day of our planning we are dreaming to build a winter garden. We think it should be a special recreation place. A place filled with life of plants and birds and other living beings created by God. This way we can teach the kids care for those God has created. Just like they were created and are now cared for, the same way they should learn to be loving care givers.
