Charitable fund “Sasha’s Home” was registered in 2008 in Ukraine, in the city of Gorlovka that is in Donetsk region. For several years before our fund was registered we simply did the work that was directed towards helping abandoned babies and children with food, medicine, pampers. In 2004 Patricia Barnes has decided that she would build a private orphanage in Ukraine. Patricia is a Christian and she firmly believes that whatever God blesses you with you should share. She lives by what she believes. 
  As time was passing by the building was purchased and reconstruction was going on some new laws were passed in Ukraine. One of them was developed in favor of foster care. We all rejoiced because we realized that that was the answer to our concerns. The best place for a child to be in is a family.  
  “Sasha’s Home” became such place. It is welcoming foster families and foster children. These children were once abandoned but now they are found and taken into families. “Sasha’s Home” protects abandoned babies all forms of physical and psychic violence, offence, etc. 
  “Sasha’s Home” provides foster families with furnished apartments, foster children grow in the atmosphere of love, peace and care.
